Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Early Childhood Educator Assistant to support classroom activities and foster a positive learning environment for young children. This role involves assisting lead teachers in implementing educational programs, supervising children, and ensuring their safety and well-being. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a strong understanding of early childhood education principles.

Responsibilities

Assist lead teachers in planning and executing age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development.
Supervise children during classroom activities, outdoor play, meals, and rest periods to ensure safety at all times.
Support individual learning needs, including working with children with disabilities, to promote inclusive education.
Help maintain a clean and organized classroom environment, including preparing materials and cleaning up after activities.
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to foster a supportive educational atmosphere.
Support the implementation of curriculum plans related to foundational skills such as math and communication.
Encourage positive behavior and social interaction among children through guidance and modeling.

Experience

Prior classroom experience working with young children is preferred.
Experience in teaching or supporting early childhood education programs is advantageous.
Familiarity with working with individuals with disabilities is a plus.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members.
Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices in early education.
Previous experience in working within a classroom setting or similar environment is desirable but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate. This position offers an enriching opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of young learners while gaining valuable experience in early childhood education.

Pay: $16.75-$20.00 per hour
