Overview
We are seeking a skilled Roofer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various roofing techniques and be comfortable working in diverse weather conditions. As a Roofer, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofs on residential and commercial buildings. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.

Duties

Install roofing systems using various materials such as shingles, metal, or tiles.
Perform repairs on existing roofs to ensure they are watertight and structurally sound.
Conduct inspections to assess the condition of roofs and identify necessary repairs or maintenance.
Utilize hand tools and equipment safely and effectively during roofing projects.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to timelines.
Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications and requirements.
Ensure job sites are kept clean and organized throughout the duration of projects.

Skills

Proficiency with hand tools commonly used in roofing and construction work.
Strong background in construction practices, including carpentry skills.
Experience with caulking techniques for sealing joints and seams effectively.
Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during roofing tasks.
Competence in reading blueprints to accurately follow project designs.
