Processing Technician – Cannabis Operations
Duncan, BC | Verte West Industries Ltd.

Verte West Industries Ltd. is seeking an experienced Processing Technician to assist with post-harvest operations, including packaging, shipping, inventory management, sanitization, and compliance activities. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail, a willingness to learn and adapt, and have a solid understanding of Health Canada Cannabis Regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Cannabis processing, packaging, labelling, and palletizing activities
Assist with monitoring product quality, consistency, and moisture control standards
Maintain accurate cannabis inventory records and ensure all cultivation and processing records comply with Health Canada Cannabis Regulations, GACP, and company SOPs
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of production, processing, cultivation, storage, gowning, and office areas
Track and manage packaging, shipping, office, and production supplies
Collaborate with cultivation and production teams to assist with plant maintenance, harvesting, trimming, and other duties as they are required
Foster a positive, collaborative, and productive work environment

Qualifications & Experience

High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business, agriculture, or manufacturing management preferred
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in the cannabis industry, cannabis processing, post-harvest operations, or a related manufacturing/production environment
Strong communication, organization, time management, and problem-solving skills
Proven reliability and dependability

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
Ability to perform repetitive tasks requiring manual dexterity and attention to detail
Must be at least 19 years of age and have reliable transportation to/from the workplace.

Pay: $26.00-$30.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
