Full job description

Job Overview

We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented Administrative Assistant/Accounting Clerk to join our team. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, have strong organizational skills and take pride in accuracy, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

Prepare and submit licensing and registration paperwork.
Process vehicle purchases and maintain accurate records.
Perform daily accounting tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Process deposits and reconcile cash, debit, and credit transactions.
Prepare bank deposits and maintain accurate financial records.
File, scan and organize dealership documents.
Order office supplies and maintain office inventory.
Support management with administrative duties and special projects.
Maintain the confidentiality of financial and customer information.
Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

Previous experience in an administrative, bookkeeping, accounting or office support role.
Experience in the automotive industry is considered an asset.
Experience with PBS accounting software is considered an asset.
Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Google Sheets.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Professional, dependable and committed to providing excellent service.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
