Job Overview
Learn2ABA is seeking enthusiastic and reliable staff to support our summer camp and year-round after-school social group programs for children and youth.

This role involves working directly with clients to support social, communication, and daily living skills in a fun, structured, and supportive environment. Programs include group activities, play-based learning, and potnetially community outings.

This position is ideal for individuals working within school boards (e.g., Educational Assistants, Teachers, Support Staff) who are looking for meaningful summer employment.

Duties

Support children and youth during camp and social group programming
Facilitate social interactions, group activities, and play-based learning
Implement basic ABA strategies (training can be provided)
Assist with behaviour management using positive and proactive approaches
Support development of communication, social, and daily living skills
Participate in community outings while ensuring safety and engagement
Collect basic data and communicate progress with supervisors
Maintain a fun, inclusive, and structured environment

Skills

Experience working with children or youth (required)
Experience with autism or developmental disabilities (considered an asset)
Background in education, psychology, ABA, Child & Youth Work, or related field (preferred)
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Positive, patient, and energetic approach
Ability to follow direction and work independently
Valid First Aid/CPR (or willingness to obtain)
Vulnerable Sector Check (required prior to start)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 – 40 per week
