About This Role:
Giant Tiger Wholesale is looking to hire a permanent DC Floater (Freezer) for our distribution centre in Brockville, Ontario!

What You'll Be Doing:
Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Conduct operations in a manner which promotes safety and comply with Ontario Safety and Health Act (OSHA) and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) standards;
Maintain all documentation as outlined in the CFIA/HACCP Food Safety Program
Various warehouse duties, as prescribed by the supervisor.
What You'll Bring:
Completion of High School;
Experience as an Order Picker or a similar position;
Must be capable of sitting, standing and walking for extended periods of time;
Must be able to lift heavy items for extended periods of time;
Basic computer skills;
Experience operating a forklift is an asset
Must be comfortable working in a cold environment, as low as -18 Celsius, for extended periods.
As part of your onboarding, you will be required to complete three days of paid machine training and successfully obtain in-house certification. Successful machine certification is a mandatory condition of employment as it is an occupational requirement.
