Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Part-time Server/Bartender to join our team. This role is vital in providing exceptional customer service, ensuring guests have a memorable dining and drinking experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong hospitality skills, be attentive to detail, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with food safety standards are highly valued.

Duties

Take orders accurately and efficiently using Clover POS systems
Serve food and beverages to guests promptly while maintaining a high standard of hospitality
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks responsibly as a bartender
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
Ensure food safety and proper food handling procedures are followed at all times
Maintain cleanliness of work areas, including bar and dining spaces
Manage time effectively during busy periods to deliver excellent customer service
Assist in setting up and breaking down service stations before and after shifts
Engage with guests to create a welcoming atmosphere, addressing any special requests or concerns

Qualifications

Previous restaurant or food industry experience REQUIRED, especially in serving or bartending roles
Familiarity with POS systems
Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and processing transactions accurately
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar orders efficiently
Part-time hours
Ability to work part-time hours, including evenings and weekends as needed willingness to learn is essential
