Full job description

CDN is a recognized industry leader in the energy services sector. CDN is a full-service provider with expertise in E&I maintenance, renewables/solar, major projects, combustion & emissions reduction, and measurement.

We are looking to hire a Warehouse Associate based out of our Brooks branch.

Responsibilities:

Match vendor packing slips with purchase orders and ensure all orders are received and communicated.
Examine the shipment's contents and compare them with the packing slips and purchase orders to confirm the order. Verify that work tickets have accurate quantities and materials.
Inspect incoming shipments and check for damaged or missing parts or materials. If goods are damaged, ensure non-conformance procedures are followed and communicated.
Provide purchasers with complete information on any order discrepancies or damaged materials.
Contact vendors on shipments that have discrepancies and resolve issues.
Sort all shipments and put inventory items into proper bins in the parts inventory warehouse or prepare customer parts and materials for pickup.
Maintain the organization of the shipping/receiving area and ensure a safe working environment.
Perform general physical activities to load, unload, sort and move shipments by hand or using material handling equipment.
Work with the purchasers cooperatively to fulfill the needs of the parts/shipping-receiving departments.
Work with the Lead Purchaser on physical receipt of all repairs and returns and communicate with applicable vendors.

Job Requirements:

Valid class 5 driver’s license
Must have strong experience with Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Able to operate a forklift.
Available to work 2 Saturdays a month to receive freight in the morning.
