Overview

We are looking for a Line Cook and a Prep Cook to join our culinary team at Heritage Inn , where your passion for food and dedication to excellence will shine! In this energetic role, you will be instrumental in preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, and ensuring every guest enjoys a memorable dining experience. Your enthusiasm for food preparation, cooking, and food safety will help create a vibrant atmosphere that celebrates teamwork. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a hotel restaurant environment while contributing to a welcoming and lively dining atmosphere.

Duties

Prepare ingredients and assist in food prep to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Cook menu items with precision, following recipes and presentation standards to deliver consistent quality.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation protocols.
Support the kitchen team during busy service hours by efficiently managing multiple tasks.
Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, handling, and portioning of ingredients.
Assist in plating dishes attractively and promptly for service.
Collaborate with team members to uphold high standards of food quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential.
Knowledge of food handling procedures, safety standards, and sanitation practices.
Strong skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly.
Ability to stand for extended periods and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward collaboration.
Basic understanding of serving protocols and customer service principles is a plus.
Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and professionalism in the kitchen environment.
