Chef/Cook Job Summary

We’re seeking a skilled, passionate Chef/Cook to join our kitchen team for the summer season. At Belly’s, the kitchen is at the heart of the experience, delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

If you take pride in your craft, thrive during busy service, and enjoy bringing your own creativity to the menu, you’ll fit right in.

Job Responsibilities

Prepare and execute menu items with consistency, speed, and attention to detail
Operate kitchen equipment (flat top, fryers, ovens, prep stations) safely and efficiently
Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe workspace at all times
Assist with prep, inventory, and stocking to ensure smooth service
Work closely with the team to deliver timely, high-quality dishes during busy service
Contribute to a positive, team-first kitchen culture
Bring your own flair to the menu by contributing creative ideas, features, and seasonal dishes

Qualifications

3+ years of experience as a Chef/Cook or in a similar kitchen role
Strong understanding of cooking techniques, timing, and food safety standards
Valid Food Handler Certification (required)
Ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-volume environment (this is a busy summer spot)
Reliable, hardworking, and team-oriented with a positive attitude
Able to stand for extended periods and handle the physical demands of the role
