Role Overview
The Installation & Service Team Member is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the irrigation team, including installation, service, and maintenance of systems across residential, commercial, and golf properties. This role ensures efficient operations, high-quality workmanship, safety compliance, and a strong customer experience while upholding company standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Field Operations & Service Delivery
- Perform irrigation system installations, service, maintenance, and repairs in accordance with company standards and industry best practices.
- Support daily job execution, including material handling, site preparation, and system troubleshooting.
- Monitor job progress, schedule adherence, and work quality to ensure efficiency and accuracy,
- Identify, report, and assist in resolving job site issues promptly with practical solutions.
- Maintain productivity throughout the workday, minimizing downtime.
- Locate and work safely around underground utilities and site infrastructure.
- Arrive prepared for daily work (morning huddles, team departure, and job readiness)
2. Team Coordination & Customer Experience
- Support Team Leaders in coordinating daily schedules, priorities, and on-site activities.
- Communicate effectively with team members, other departments, and the Customer Care Team regarding job progress or delays.
- Provide professional, clear communication with customers and contractors to ensure satisfaction and long-term retention.
- Promote a customer-first mindset and contribute to a positive, accountable team environment.
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and ongoing performance improvement.
3. Equipment, Inventory & Administrative Duties
- Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in safe, clean, and working conditions, including daily inspections and reporting.
- Track and manage materials and inventory to minimize waste, loss, and damage.
- Accurately complete all required documentation, including:
- Job costing and work reports.
- Time tracking and job logs
- Materials and inventory usage.
- As-build and service documentation.
- Use company software (e.g., Service Titan) to log time, document work performed, record parts used, and note incomplete tasks.
- Ensure clear documentation of outstanding work for efficient follow-up and scheduling.
- Follow company procedures to safeguard assets and maintain proper record-keeping.
4. Health, Safety and Compliance
- Follow all health and safety policies, procedures, and job site regulations at all times.
- Use required PPE and comply with safety standards (e.g., WHMIS, OH&S, Working at heights).
- Immediately stop work and report unsafe conditions or incidents.
- Attend and participate in all required safety meetings and training programs.
- Complete daily vehicle inspections, circle checks, and ensure all safety documentation is current and accessible.
- Adhere to company security procedures to protect equipment, vehicles, and other assets.
5. Other Duties as Assigned
- Perform additional administrative or operational responsibilities as needed.
- Support overall business operations and contribute to team success.
KPIs & Success Metrics
- Productivity: Complete assigned jobs on schedule while maintaining consistent work pace and minimizing downtime.
- Quality: Deliver accurate, high-quality installation and service work with minimal callbacks or deficiencies.
- Customer Experience: Maintain professional communication and contribute to high customer satisfaction on all jobs.
- Documentation: Ensure all job details, time, and materials are recorded accurately and submitted daily.
- Safety: Follow all safety procedures, use PPE consistently, and report any hazards or incidents.
- Teamwork: Support team members, communicate effectively, and contribute to a reliable, positive work environment.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience in irrigation, landscaping, construction, or a related field is an asset.
- Certified Irrigation Technician (CIT) certification or other industry certification are considered an asset.
- Experience with service or scheduling software (e.g., Service Titan) is an asset.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
- Work is primarily outdoors in varying conditions (rain, heat, cold, wind, snow).
- Regular travel between job sites; company vehicle may be provided.
- Ability to:
- Stand, walk, and perform physical labour for extended periods.
- Dig, bend, crouch, and lift as required.
- Lift up to 50lbs.
- Requires full range of motion, manual dexterity, and sensory awareness (sight, hearing, touch)
Work Schedule
- Typical workday starts at 7:30 AM with a morning huddle and ends at 5:30pm. Depending on project and service schedules.
- Extended hours may be required during peak periods or project deadlines.

Pay: $22.00-$23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
