Full job description

Naked Cake Company is an up-and-coming bakeshop in the heart of Cloverdale. We aim to deliver top quality products, along with exceptional customer service. You will be working with our experienced Bakery staff to provide decadent products and will be an essential part of the Bakery team. This is surely a fun and creative opportunity to create unique and delicious cakes!

Specific requirements:

should have bakery experience (1 year minimum)
should have a food safe certificate
should be comfortable with heavy, repetitive lifting and scooping
has experience with lamination, baking and executing recipes
Use of mixer, commercial oven
Cleaning and sanitizing of bakery equipment
Cleaning, washing dishes, sweeping and mopping floors, maintaining a clean work environment
has a flexible schedule and is comfortable with some overtime (during busy seasons)
can multitask and has a sense of urgency
should value integrity and be trustworthy
should be a good team player
should be organized and pays attention to detail
must be legally authorized to work in Canada

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

Ability to learn quickly and be highly motivated
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Works in a safe and responsible manner
Available to work flexible hours
Evening and weekend availability is strongly encouraged
Frequent lifting of up to 20 pounds
Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds
Frequent hand coordination, bending pushing, pulling and twisting
Constant standing, walking, gripping, reaching

Job Types: Part-time, Full-time

Pay: $18.25-$22.00 per hour
