Pacific Fertility is seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Sterile Processing Technicians to join our team in Burnaby. We are currently evaluating two staffing options and welcome applications from candidates seeking either part-time or full-time employment.
We are looking to fill either:
Two Part-Time Positions
- Option 1: Monday to Wednesday
- Option 2: Saturday and Sunday
OR
One Full-Time Position
- Option 3: Saturday to Wednesday (Thursdays and Fridays off)
Weekend availability (Saturday and Sunday) is required for Option 2 and the full-time schedule (Option 3).

As a Sterile Processing Technician, you will play an important role in supporting patient care by ensuring medical devices, instruments, and clinic areas are maintained according to the highest standards of cleanliness, sterilization, and safety. You will work closely with our clinical team to help maintain an efficient and compliant healthcare environment.
- Clean, disinfect, and sterilize medical devices and instruments in accordance with established healthcare standards and protocols.
- Assemble, wrap, sterilize, store, rotate, and distribute equipment and procedure trays while ensuring sterility is maintained.
- Maintain housekeeping standards throughout the clinic, including patient care areas, storage rooms, procedure rooms, fixtures, furniture, and common areas.
- Dispose of waste and biohazard materials according to established procedures.
- Replenish dispensers and supplies throughout the clinic.
- Organize and maintain storage areas and inventory.
- Complete floor care, carpet cleaning, and routine maintenance tasks.
- Adhere to all clinic policies, safety standards, and College of Physicians and Surgeons guidelines.
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.
- Medical Device Reprocessing Technician (MDRT) Certificate preferred.
- One to two years of experience as a Sterile Processing Technician or in a related role.
- Experience working in a healthcare setting or Operating Room (OR) environment is considered an asset.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
