Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and detail-oriented Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service, a strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your hospitality skills and contribute to an enjoyable dining experience for all patrons.

Duties

– Tend bar and prepare drinks to standard; provide recommendations and upsell offerings

– Welcome guests, anticipate needs, and create a memorable experience on every visit

– Input orders into the POS and coordinate food orders with the kitchen

– Issue, open, and serve wine and bottles; maintain full knowledge of all beverage offerings

– Complete opening and closing checklists; maintain bar cleanliness and organization

– Manage inventory, kegs, and supplies; communicate replenishment needs proactively

– Process payments, maintain cash float, and adhere to all cash handling procedures

– Collect and report tips; complete end-of-shift cashier reports accurately

– Support your team for seamless service timing and guest satisfaction across the outlet

– Follow all safety, sanitation, and food handling policies

Requirements

– At least 1 year of bartending or food and beverage experience; 2–3 years preferred

– Serving It Right certification required (KBDC will cover the cost if you don’t have it yet)

– Food Safe certification is an asset

– Open, flexible availability including evenings and weekends

– Strong communication and a genuine guest-first attitude

– Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
