About Us
Key-oh Business Development Corporation (KBDC) is a 100% Ts’il Kaz Koh-owned corporation based in Burns Lake, BC. We operate the Key-oh Hotel, Key-oh Lodge, and the Keyoh Lounge. Working here means being part of something that matters to the community.
The Role
As a Room Attendant, you play a direct role in the guest experience at the Key-oh Hotel and Lodge. Your attention to detail and care for the property is what keeps guests comfortable and coming back. This role suits someone who takes pride in their work and wants reliable employment with a community-owned employer. No previous experience required — we’ll train you.
Responsibilities
– Clean and tidy guest rooms: make beds, dust, vacuum, and clean bathrooms to a high standard
– Replenish guest room supplies including toiletries, towels, and linens
– Perform laundry duties as required
– Maintain cleanliness of public areas including lobbies, hallways, and restrooms
– Complete deep cleans on a rotating schedule, including carpet and upholstery cleaning
– Stock and maintain housekeeping carts with all necessary supplies
– Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, damage, or items left behind to management
– Inspect rooms and replace light bulbs and batteries as needed
– Log and store lost and found items properly
– Follow all hotel policies, health and safety guidelines, and sustainability practices
What We’re Looking For
– Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is an asset, but not required
– Strong attention to detail; ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Flexible availability including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
– Physical stamina for standing, walking, lifting, and bending throughout a shift
– Professional, courteous approach with guests and colleagues
– Food Safe and WHMIS certifications are assets
