Domcor Health Safety and Security is looking for experienced Security Guards in the Burns Lake, BC area. These security positions will require 7 days on and 7 days off various shift schedule-shifts are 12 hours.

- This is not a fly in Fly out position.
- There is no relocation for these positions
- Resumes from the Burns Lake area and First Nations will be given first priority on positions
Responsibilities of Security will include, but are not limited to:
· Observe, record, and report activities and security incidents while on shift. Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities, inform violators of policy and procedures
· Provide exceptional, high level customer service to the client in a sometimes challenging and dynamic environment
· Ensure client property, investments and personnel are secure against theft, vandalism, and illegal activity
· Conduct foot and vehicle patrols not limited to standing, walking, and driving for long periods of time
· Effectively communicate all suspicious activities and concerns to the appropriate supervisors
· Complete Daily Report
· Able to work efficiently and effectively both as part of a team or individually
Requirements of Security will include, but are not limited to:
· Valid British Columbia Basic Security License (BST) - Non negotiable
· Common Safety Orientation (CSO) required
· Construction Safety Training System (CSTS) required
· First aid required
· Ability to pass drug and alcohol test (including marijuana and CBD)
· Valid Class 5 driver's license and a clean driver’s abstract
· Shifts are 12 hours per day:
· Additional Overtime and / or weekend work may be required
· Fluency to speak, read and write in English
· Confidence with technology (i.e., smart phone, tablet, etc.)
