Who we’re looking for:
We’re looking for a Junior/Intermediate level Integrity Engineer resource to join our all-star team. We’re looking for:
- A problem solver: You excel at analyzing data and breaking down complex problems. You can find logical, efficient solutions and think in systems, seeing the big picture while ensuring all parts fit together smoothly. You’re also comfortable working both collaboratively and independently, taking initiative to move work forward and drive solutions on your own.
- Pipeline integrity expertise: You have experience in implementing innovative strategies for managing pipeline integrity, with a focus on proactive risk mitigation, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement.
- Data and document management: You bring strong skills and knowledge in data and document management, ensuring accuracy, organization, and integrity of information while supporting efficient workflows and compliance requirements.
- An effective communicator: You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong technical writing ability, enabling you to convey complex information clearly and professionally to diverse audiences. You adapt your messaging to suit the context, ensuring understanding and alignment among team members, stakeholders, and clients.
What you’ll do:
Here is a sample of what your workday may look like:
- Support implementation of the Integrity Management Program for Pipelines (IMPP).
- Complete engineering assessments, crossing assessments & waivers.
- Maintain the engineering assessment register for Pipeline Integrity.
- Support In-Line Inspections (ILI), complete post-ILI assessments & manage ILI data.
- Actively engage with field execution team for integrity inspection & dig activities.
- Develop & manage long-term pipeline inspection, integrity digs & repair plans.
- Identify integrity risks & elevate them through the NRM Risk Management process.
- Review Engineering Work Packages (EWP) for pipeline repairs.
- Provide input for Engineering Specifications as they pertain to pipeline integrity.
- Technical support for Capital and Maintenance Projects.
- Technical support for regulatory, audits & pipeline submissions.

What you bring:
Required
- Professional Engineer or Professional Licensee registration with EGBC or APEGA (or be near completion of certification if unregistered).
- 3-5 years of experience directly related to integrity of gas and liquids pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of pipeline standards & recommended practices.
- Strong knowledge of BC, AB & Federal regulatory requirements.
- Travel to field locations (Northern BC & AB) will be required for this role.
Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical or Materials).
- Experience with ArcGIS & spatial data management platforms.
- Implementation of pipeline risk assessment & integrity software.
- Experience with development & management of core pipeline integrity programs. (CP, Corrosion Inhibitor, inspections, etc.).
