Full job description

Job Title: Fluid Volume Reporting Technician
Job Location: Calgary, AB

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Fluid Volume Reporting Technician to support daily data management and reporting of fluid transfers across multiple operational sites. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, accuracy, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

What's the Job?

Enter and manage daily fluid transfer data (60–100 truck/pipeline tickets) into the Energy Components system.
Retrieve, organize, and collate truck tickets by company and date.
Review tickets for completeness and accuracy, identifying and resolving missing or incorrect information.
Research discrepancies through archived files, dispatch teams, and other stakeholders.
Verify and input key details such as source, destination, company, and unit.
Conduct daily quality checks to ensure all entries are accurate and complete.
Collaborate with Production Accountants to troubleshoot data anomalies and correct entries.
Compile monthly Third Party Disposal Reports and reconcile with internal data.
Reconcile rig reports by validating ticket data against Well View system records.
Ensure proper retention of all documentation in line with team procedures.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders (Fluid Haul, Production Accounting, Measurement, Environmental Operations).
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes, efficiency, and data accuracy.

What's Needed?

Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
High attention to detail with the ability to manage repetitive data entry tasks accurately.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Experience with Energy Components and Well View systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
Working knowledge of SAGD operations and fluid reporting processes.
Familiarity with relevant directives (Directive 7, 17, 42) and disposal waste manifest processes is an asset.
