Duties & Responsibilities
Transaction Management
-
Lead and coordinate aircraft and engine acquisitions, sales, leases, lease returns, and other asset transactions from transaction execution through final closing and delivery.

Develop and maintain transaction plans, delivery schedules, closing checklists, responsibility matrices, and transaction trackers.

Monitor transaction progress and proactively identify risks, delays, and obstacles that may impact closing timelines.
Stakeholder Coordination
-
Act as the primary transaction coordinator between Legal, Asset Management, Leasing, Sales, Technical Services, Finance, Records, and Executive Management.
- Coordinate communications and activities with customers, lessors, lessees, purchasers, financiers, escrow agents, aviation authorities, technical consultants, and external legal counsel.
- Facilitate transaction status meetings and drive timely completion of assigned action items.
Delivery and Closing Management

Coordinate all conditions precedent and transaction closing requirements.

Track completion of technical, legal, commercial, regulatory, insurance, financial, and operational deliverables.

Coordinate aircraft and engine delivery and return activities.

Ensure timely completion of registration, deregistration, export, import, and ownership transfer requirements.

Support funding, escrow, and closing logistics.

Manage transaction documentation and maintain complete transaction records.
Governance Support

Ensure compliance with internal approval processes and corporate governance requirements.

Support the resolution of transaction-related disputes, deficiencies, and post-closing issues.
Process Improvement
-
Develop and maintain transaction management procedures, templates, and reporting tools.
-
Recommend improvements to transaction execution processes and best practices.

Support continuous improvement initiatives related to aircraft and engine transactions.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Commerce, Aviation Management, Legal Studies, Project Management, or a related discipline.
-
PMP designation, Paralegal certification, or Project Management certification considered an asset.

Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
-
Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
-
Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
Experience
-
Minimum 5-10 years of experience managing complex commercial transactions, aviation projects, asset management activities, aircraft leasing transactions, procurement projects, construction projects, or similar multi-stakeholder initiatives.

Aircraft leasing, aircraft trading, aviation finance, airline, MRO, or aviation asset management experience strongly preferred.

Demonstrated experience coordinating multiple stakeholders across legal, technical, operational, and financial functions.

Experience working in an international business environment is considered an asset.
