The Job:
Reporting to the Production Manager, The Manufacturing Administrator is responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date manufacturing data within the EPICOR Engineering Workbench. This role supports the engineering and production teams by ensuring bills of materials (BOMs), part structures, and job-related data are all properly entered, updated, and aligned with production requirements.
This role works closely with various other departments throughout the company such Inside sales, Purchasing and Production to ensure that the required operations steps, labor needs and material requirements for each job are accurate and detailed so that the product can be produced quickly and efficiently.
Your Work will include:
- Function as the primary resource for EPICOR – Engineering Workbench Administration
- Create, update, and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) in EPICOR
- Maintain part numbers, revisions, and product structures
- Enter and update routing, operations, and manufacturing data
- Ensure all engineering changes are accurately reflected in the system
- Review and validate data for accuracy and completeness
- Perform regular audits of EPICOR Engineering work bench data to identify discrepancies
- Maintaining proper version control and documentation of updates
- Support engineering change requests (ECRs/ECOs)
- Assist with new product setup and release processes
- Coordinate with departments to ensure alignment between drawings, BOMs, and production requirements
- Provide data support for scheduling, costing, and purchasing
- Engineering & Production Support through strong data accuracy & controls
- Documentation & process compliance by maintaining organized and up-to-date technical and system records
- Follow internal procedures for data management and change control
- Ensure compliance with company standards and ISO requirements (if applicable.)

Successful applicants will have a background in manufacturing or production and experience working with interconnected product part numbers / naming conventions.
Education & Experience
- Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Engineering Technology, or a related field is preferred
- Experience using Manufacturing ERP Software (EPICOR Kinetic) or similar MRP software.
- 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing or administrative environment is an asset
- Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
Skills & Abilities
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Effective communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Technical Knowledge
- Experience with ERP systems (EPICOR preferred)
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes (machining, welding, assembly)
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings is an asset
- Strong Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer systems

Compensation:
This is a salaried position with an initial annual starting range of $50,000.00 to $60,000.00.The exact starting rate for this role will be within the posted range and based on the successful candidate’s particular combination of skills, education and experience. Future increases will be based on ongoing individual performance.
