POSITION OVERVIEW:
Responsible for new business development, account implementation, and maintaining customer relationships within a defined geographic territory. Focus on identifying customer needs, delivering tailored LTL solutions, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless customer experience.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Direct sales efforts within an assigned territory.
- Promote and direct sales activities, ensuring alignment with territorial goals.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research and outreach.
- Maintain and grow existing accounts by understanding customer supply chains.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver outstanding service.
- Conduct sales presentations, develop proposals, and close deals.
- Utilize CRM tools and Microsoft Office to manage sales activities.
- Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Six (6) years of B2B sales experience. Up to four (4) years can be supplemented by a post-secondary certificate, diploma or degree.
- Knowledge of LTL services and competitive landscape.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint and Outlook)
- Excellent time management, organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills, including excellent attention to detail.
- Mid-level negotiation skills and ability to offer competitive pricing.
- Ability to collaborate with local operations teams.
- Bilingual (English/French) preferred; required in Quebec
JOB CONDITIONS:
- Position requires extensive and frequent travel, including overnight travel
- Valid Driver’s License required
- Hours may vary due to operational need.
