Position: Geophysicist
Location: Calgary, Alberta (must reside locally)

Backed by over 280 years of international expertise, our team blends deep technical knowledge with practical field experience to deliver innovative solutions to our clients.

We are expanding our Calgary-based team and are seeking a Geophysicist – Mining & Energy who is passionate, driven, and ready to take their career to the next level.

Your Key Responsibilities

As a core member of our technical team, you’ll lead and contribute to a range of exciting projects across both mining and energy geophysics:

Business Development: Drive growth through strategic proposal writing, client engagement, and support for marketing and sales activities.
Project Management: Plan and execute geophysical projects (multiple methods) from start to finish.
Field Acquisition: Lead and supervise field programs both in Canada and internationally—including challenging environments such as remote regions, arctic conditions, and underground operations.
Data Analysis: Process, interpret, and report geophysical data with clarity and precision.
Client Liaison: Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success.

Qualifications & Skills

Education & Experience:

Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Geophysics, Earth Sciences, or related discipline (required);

Master’s degree (preferred)

Minimum 6 years of experience in applied geophysics within the mining and/or energy sectors
At least 4 years in business development or client-facing roles
Registered or eligible for registration as a P.Geo or P.Geoph.

Required Skills:

Excellent spoken and written English communication skills (essential)
Strong industry connections with both junior and major resource companies
Demonstrated leadership in both field and office-based environments
Strong organizational and analytical abilities
Ability to travel nationally and internationally for field assignments
Must hold a valid driver’s license
Must reside in the Calgary area
