Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and ticketed Millwright or Heavy Equipment Technician with extensive experience in rotating equipment, particularly with gearboxes and pumps. This position is perfect for someone who takes pride in delivering high-quality work, enjoys variety, and is eager to take ownership of a growing sector within the company. You will work on a range of equipment from small gearboxes to units up to 500 HP, engaging in both shop rebuilds and scheduled field services. The ideal candidate will be methodical, quality-driven, and comfortable working independently in both shop and field environments.
Responsibilities

Perform repairs and rebuilds on gearboxes, pumps, motors, and cylinders.

Diagnose and repair hydraulic systems.

Handle component repair and rebuild tasks.

Engage in shop rebuilds and scheduled field service work.

Work independently and maintain high-quality standards.
Essential Skills-
Experience with rotating equipment, gearboxes, and pumps.

Proficiency in hydraulics, repair, and blueprint reading.

Ability to diagnose hydraulic systems and perform component repairs.

Strong mechanical skills and attention to detail.
Additional Skills & Qualifications-
Experience with competitors such as Norcan, Applied (AIT), or Motion.

Machining experience and fabrication skills are an asset.

Work Environment
This role involves a mix of shop and field work, primarily local, with occasional travel to Grande Prairie. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. The work environment is dynamic, offering a balance of independent and collaborative tasks in both shop and field settings.

The pay range for this position is $83200.00 - $104000.00/yr.
