Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Class 1 Driver/Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating heavy equipment and commercial vehicles to transport freight and materials efficiently. This role requires a strong focus on safety, operational expertise, and adherence to transportation regulations, ensuring smooth logistics and delivery processes across various sites.

Duties

Safely operate commercial trucks and heavy equipment, including forklifts and other machinery, to transport freight and materials.
Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, ensuring proper handling and securing of freight.
Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on vehicles and equipment to ensure optimal operation.
Follow all safety protocols and transportation regulations during operations.
Assist with the repair and troubleshooting of automotive or heavy equipment as needed.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle logs, and inspection reports.
Coordinate with warehouse or site personnel to ensure timely delivery schedules.

Qualifications

Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
Experience operating forklifts, heavy equipment, or other industrial machinery is preferred.
Knowledge of freight handling, loading, and securing cargo safely.
Basic automotive repair skills are a plus.
Proven experience in commercial driving or logistics operations is desirable.
Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently in various environments.
Strong attention to safety procedures and regulatory compliance.
Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in heavy equipment operation and commercial driving to contribute to a dynamic team dedicated to safety and efficiency.

Pay: $9,000.00-$11,000.00 per month
