Full job description

About the Role:

Join the team that maintains one of Calgary's premier private lake communities. Our staff take pride in providing residents and guests with exceptionally clean facilities, beautiful beaches, parks, and a safe recreational environment. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in cleanliness, and enjoys physical, hands-on work.

Schedule:

Part-time position
Shifts may begin as early as 7:00 AM
Weekdays, evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays as required
Additional hours may be available during peak season and special events

Primary Responsibilities:

Ensure parking lots are free of litter and debris before the facility opens.
Thoroughly clean, sanitize, inspect, and restock all public washrooms.
Ensure parks, beaches, and common areas are clean and free of litter.
Rake beaches and remove lake weeds, sticks, and shoreline debris.
Empty garbage and recycling receptacles.
Assist with mowing, trimming, landscaping, and seasonal grounds maintenance.
Assist with facility maintenance, painting, minor repairs, and seasonal operations.
Complete assigned daily task lists and maintenance logs.
Provide exceptional customer service to residents and guests.
Report maintenance concerns, hazards, and damaged equipment promptly.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working at a lake, campground, golf course, park, or recreation facility.
Grounds or facilities maintenance experience.
Standard First Aid & CPR Certification.
Pleasure Craft Operator Card (Boating Licence).
WHMIS Certification.
Valid Alberta Class 5 Driver's Licence.
