About the Opportunity
Tap And Shine Calgary is looking for a hungry, disciplined, detail-obsessed candidate to train into one of the rarest automotive protection roles in Calgary: Icon Rocklear Installer.
We are not looking for someone who already knows how to install Icon Rocklear. Almost nobody does.
We are one of the only shops in Calgary with access to the product, install process, and training pathway. That means the right person has the opportunity to learn a rare, high-value skill inside one of Calgary’s fastest-growing automotive protection studios.
This is not a normal detailing job.
This is a growth-track role for someone who wants to become elite at paint protection, paint correction, coating preparation, quality control, and eventually Icon Rocklear installation.
If you want to be average, this is not the role for you.
If you want to be trained, challenged, held to high standards, and given the opportunity to become one of the few people in Calgary trusted to install one of the world’s toughest paint protection coatings, keep reading.

Why Join Tap And Shine?
Rare Skill Pathway
You will have the opportunity to train toward becoming an Icon Rocklear installer — a rare and specialized paint protection coating that is far beyond normal ceramic coatings.
This is a chance to build a skill set most detailers, coating installers, and automotive workers in Calgary do not have access to.
Fast-Growing Company
Tap And Shine has outgrown two locations in its first 18 months and has recently expanded again into a bigger location. We are growing quickly, but we are still a lean, high-standard team where every person matters.
Performance-Based Growth
Raises and advancement are earned through performance, consistency, attitude, quality, communication, and successful completion of internal milestones.
The right person can grow into:
- Certified Icon Rocklear Installer
- Senior Installer
- Leadership roles
- Higher compensation opportunities
- Future performance-based incentives
Serious Tools, Serious Standards
We invest in quality tools, training, systems, and processes. But tools only matter when the person using them has the discipline to do things properly every time.
