Deerfoot Inn & Casino – Beverage Supervisor

Position Summary

The Deerfoot Inn & Casino is seeking an experienced beverage supervisor to join our fun and hard working team. We have an exciting, fast paced, multi-outlet facility. We are seeking someone who has experience assisting in large team leadership. This candidate will need to understand and maintain service standards through the property. Come and join us!

Responsibilities

· Ensuring a high level of customer service.

· Ensure that all restaurant policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programs and followed and completed on a timely basis.

· Achieve company objectives in sales, service, quality, the appearance of facility and sanitation and cleanliness through training of employees and creating a positive, productive working environment.

· Verifying employee cash outs and inventory control.

· Investigate and resolve complaints regarding food or beverage quality & service.

· Administer prompt, fair and consistent corrective action for violations of company policies, rules and procedures.

· Review work procedures and operational issues to determine ways to improve service, performance, or safety.

· Attend all scheduled employee meetings and offers suggestions for improvement.

· Coordinate with and assist fellow employees to meet guests’ needs and support the operation of the restaurant.

· Fill-in for fellow employees where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations.

Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills Required

· 2 + years’ beverage service and supervisory experience required.

· Must have knowledge in restaurant safety and service procedures and functions.

· Pro Serve Certification.

· Ability to maintain professionalism, and composure in all situations.

· 18 years of age or older.

· Well organized with attention to detail and time management.

· Takes ownership of duties, shows initiative and is proactive.
