Project Coordinator

ITS Construction Inc. Mount Uniacke, Nova Scotia Full-Time

ITS Construction Inc. is a proud Nova Scotia-based contractor specializing in petroleum, service station construction, and environmental remediation. We are committed to delivering innovative technical solutions through high-quality work completed safely, on time, and on budget.

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a highly organized and motivated Project Coordinator to join our team. This position plays a critical role in supporting project managers, field crews, subcontractors, and clients to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Assist General Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing construction projects.
Maintain project documentation, including contracts, RFIs, submittals, permits, change orders, and closeout packages.
Coordinate communication between project teams, clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors.
Prepare meeting agendas, minutes, project reports, and progress updates.
Track project schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
Support procurement activities, including material orders and vendor coordination.
Monitor project budgets.
Assist with project compliance requirements, safety documentation, and regulatory submissions.
Maintain accurate electronic and physical project files.
Contribute to continuous process improvements and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
2+ years of project coordination or construction administration experience preferred.
Knowledge of construction practices, project documentation, and contract administration.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
Experience with construction management software is considered an asset.
Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently and as part of a team.
Hands-on experience with construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, Civil 3D considered an asset
