Looking for a Stroke of Brilliance
As our Colour & Graphic Designer Specialist, you will lead the colour strategy and visual design direction for BeautiTone Paint and Specialty Products. From identifying emerging colour trends and developing market-leading colour palettes to creating engaging marketing and educational materials, you will play a key role in enhancing the BeautiTone brand and supporting our Dealers' success. Reporting to the Creative Manager, this role is ideal for a creative, detail-oriented, and collaborative professional with expertise in colour, design, and brand execution.

- Apply colour expertise to evaluate current palettes, monitor design and market trends, and identify opportunities for new colour development.

Select colours and palettes that align with manufacturing and lab capabilities while delivering best-in-class assortments for Dealers.
- Collaborate with strategic consumer-facing marketing stakeholders to create and design marketing collateral, magazine advertising, POP materials, and labels for BeautiTone Paint and Specialty Products.

Lead the Colour Committee.

Support colour change initiatives in partnership with R&D, chemistry, procurement, Dealer Support, and Paint Consultants.

Monitor and respond to market changes and colour changes that impact colour cards, colour chips, colour palettes as well as colour management equipment such as Match Rite.

Engage with industry associations, including Colour Marketing Group, Colour Guild International, and Colour Hive, to stay current on colour and trend insights.

Support Dealer requests and special projects as required.

Perform other duties as assigned.
We’re looking for:
- University degree or college diploma in Graphic Design, Interior Design, or a related field.
- Three to five years of colour and graphic design experience, preferably within the paint, home décor, interior design, or building products industry.

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Microsoft Office.
- Prepress knowledge and experience with Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects are considered assets.
- Strong understanding of colour theory, residential colour application, and emerging design trends.
- Exceptional visual design skills, including layout, typography, presentation development, and brand execution.
- Creative, organized, and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects, competing priorities, and deadlines.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to incorporate feedback and develop effective design solutions.
- Ability to work onsite in Burford five days per week, with flexibility to work additional hours during peak business periods.

- Hourly rate: $28.70-34.40/hour; the starting hourly rate will be based on qualifications and experience. Eligible for the monthly and annual bonus programs
