Full job description

Centra Industries Inc., a division of Precision Castparts Corp. (PCC), manufactures airplane parts for the aerospace industry. We are presently seeking to Parts Finisher/Deburring positions available in our Cambridge, Ontario location to cover existing vacancies. Individuals must be available to work a CONTINENTIAL ROTATING and/or an AFTERNOON shift.

Position Overview:

Complete deburring operations on aluminum, steel, and titanium products using hand-held sanders, grinders and polishers
Grind or chip excess welds, rust, scale and other materials from the surfaces of metal products
Visually inspect product and use measuring devices to ensure it is within part specifications
Consistently follow quality and safety policies and procedures
Must wear a respirator and remain clean-shaven to ensure proper fit/seal against skin
Work primarily day shift, but need to be flexible to work other shifts if required
Performs other related duties as assigned
Clean and maintain equipment in work area

Skills and Experience

Good mechanical capabilities
Knowledge of machines and tools
Attention to detail to debur parts to tight tolerances
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Requires manual dexterity
