Job Responsibilities
Customer Service
- Welcome students, families, and visitors to the studio.
- Answer phone calls, emails, and general inquiries.
- Assist families with registration and Parent Portal questions.
- Schedule trial classes and respond to prospective student inquiries.
- Provide information about studio programs, events, and policies.
- Refer complex questions or concerns to the Director of Enrollment & Administration.
Administrative Support
- Maintain accurate student records and data entry.
- Assist with attendance tracking and registration processes.
- Organize digital and physical files.
- Complete assigned administrative projects.
- Support daily studio operations.
Marketing Support
- Create promotional graphics using Canva.
- Assist with social media content and scheduling.
- Draft email and text communications for review.
- Help prepare promotional materials and enrollment campaigns.
- Maintain studio bulletin boards and displays.
- Organize photos and videos for marketing purposes.
Studio Operations
- Keep the front desk, lobby, and common areas clean and organized.
- Monitor office and classroom supplies.
- Organize lost and found items.
- Assist with boutique displays and inventory.
- Help maintain a professional appearance throughout the studio.
Boutique Support
- Assist families with dancewear purchases.
- Size students for dancewear and shoes.
- Process retail sales.
- Restock merchandise and organize inventory.
Facility Support
- Replenish restroom supplies.
- Change garbage bags as needed.
- Wipe tables and common areas.
- Respond to spills and general cleaning needs.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures.
Event Support
- Assist with studio events, enrollment campaigns, recitals, and showcases.
- Help prepare event materials and supplies.
- Support event registration and communications.
Qualifications
We're looking for someone who has:
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and professionalism.
- Confidence using computers, email, and Google Workspace.
- Experience with Canva and social media platforms.
- The ability to learn new software and systems, including Asana.
- A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
- Reliability, punctuality, and strong problem-solving skills.
Preferred Experience
The ideal candidate has experience in one or more of the following:
- Customer service
- Reception or front desk operations
- Administration
- Retail sales
- Marketing or social media
- Working with children and families
- Experience with Canva, Asana, and Slack
Experience in dance, recreation, education, fitness, or the performing arts is considered an asset but is not required.
Schedule
This is a part-time position that includes evening shifts and regular Saturday hours. Additional hours may be available during studio events, recital season, and enrollment periods.

This position combines customer service, administrative support, studio operations, and marketing assistance. The successful candidate enjoys working with children and families, takes initiative, and takes pride in creating a welcoming and organized environment.
