Role Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Team Lead to own the accuracy and integrity of our inventory. In this role, you will establish the standards, habits, and systems that keep our warehouse organized and our data reliable — creating the foundation from which smooth shipping, receiving, and production support naturally follow.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Own inventory accuracy: lead cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and drive root cause resolution to maintain data integrity across all stock locations.
Establish and enforce location discipline, labeling standards, and put-away practices that make the warehouse self-evident and audit-ready at all times.
Oversee daily warehouse activities — receiving, picking, packing, and shipping — ensuring transactions are recorded accurately and promptly in the WMS.
Train and mentor staff on inventory best practices, SOPs, and AS9100 requirements, building a team culture where accuracy is a shared standard, not just a policy.
Collaborate with procurement, production, and logistics to anticipate inventory needs, flag discrepancies early, and prevent fulfillment delays.
Identify and implement process improvements that reduce handling errors, shrinkage, and inventory variance.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment in compliance with all health and safety regulations.
Generate and analyze reports on inventory accuracy, cycle count performance, and fulfillment metrics to drive continuous improvement.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Strong understanding of inventory control principles: cycle counting, location management, variance analysis, and reconciliation.
Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS) with disciplined transaction habits.
Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail — able to build systems that others can follow consistently.
Leadership skills that motivate a team around shared standards rather than supervision alone.
Effective communicator across warehouse, procurement, and production teams.
Problem-solving mindset: investigates the cause of discrepancies rather than simply correcting the number.
Familiarity with AS9100 documentation and quality requirements.
Forklift certification and materials handling will be an asset to this role.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary in supply chain or logistics is an asset.
Minimum 5 years of warehouse experience.
Demonstrated track record of improving inventory accuracy in a manufacturing or aerospace environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and a consistent, fair approach to enforcement.
