Job Summary
The Seasonal Landscaper is responsible for performing a variety of landscaping and grounds maintenance tasks to ensure the property remains attractive and well-kept. This hands-on role involves operating landscaping equipment, planting, pruning, and maintaining lawns and gardens. The ideal candidate is passionate about outdoor work, detail-oriented, and committed to safety and quality standards.
Your contribution to the team includes:
- Load and unload supplies, equipment, and materials for work areas.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Maintain clean and safe work sites by removing debris and yard waste.
- Perform lawn care, including mowing, trimming, raking, weeding, feeding, and watering.
- Repair lawns by adding seed, soil, and peat moss as needed.
- Plant and prune flowers, shrubs, and trees; assist with tree removal when necessary.
- Apply pesticides and herbicides safely to control pests and diseases.
- Sweep and clean walkways and outdoor areas.
- Follow all workplace safety protocols.
- Perform other landscaping duties as assigned.
What you need to be successful:
- Previous landscaping or grounds maintenance experience required.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Knowledge of safe equipment operation and chemical handling.
- Familiarity with landscaping tools and machinery.
- Basic mechanical skills for equipment maintenance.
