Job Title: Seasonal Prep Cook
Location: Fisherman’s Landing & Lodge – Campbell River, BC, Canada
Employment Type: Temporary, Seasonal
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: First Monday in September (Around September 1, 2025)
Compensation: $200 CAD per day (Lodging and meals included)

Fisherman's Landing & Lodge is a premier fishing lodge in Campbell River, BC, known for its world-class fishing and hospitality. Our main lodge restaurant serves fresh, high-quality meals to guests during the busy summer season.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a Seasonal Cook to support kitchen operations at our main lodge restaurant. This role is essential in delivering high-quality meals to our guests by preparing and cooking dishes, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring smooth service throughout each shift.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook meals for lodge guests according to menu specifications
Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables, portioning ingredients, and assembling dishes
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, following food safety and sanitation regulations
Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment throughout the shift
Restock supplies and coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service
Ensure the kitchen and dining areas meet cleanliness standards before and after service
Properly handle and store food and kitchen supplies

Qualifications & Skills:

Some experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment preferred but not required
Understanding of basic food prep, cooking techniques, and sanitation practices
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to the full seasonal term
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
