Purpose:
The Cleanroom Technician is responsible for the accurate preparation, compounding, labeling, packaging, and inspection of sterile pharmaceutical products in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), regulatory requirements, and quality standards. Working under the supervision of the Cleanroom Operations Manager, Team Lead, and/or Pharmacist, the incumbent ensures the safe and aseptic preparation of sterile medications while maintaining product quality, operational efficiency, and compliance within the cleanroom environment. The role also supports inventory management, quality assurance activities, equipment maintenance, environmental monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives to meet production demands and organizational objectives.

Job Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate commitment to the organization's goals, values, and customer-focused culture.
- Adhere to all corporate policies, quality management systems, SOPs, work instructions, regulatory requirements, and electronic documentation systems.
- Comply with the Company Code of Conduct and all workplace health and safety requirements.
- Maintain all required training, certifications, and competency requirements through designated learning platforms and programs.
- Maintain adequate inventory levels of supplies and materials required for cleanroom and production operations.
- Assemble, inspect, and verify production components against production documentation prior to compounding activities.
- Aseptically compound sterile preparations in accordance with approved SOPs and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare intravenous admixtures including Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN), IV preparations, and cytotoxic products as required.
- Perform in-process and final product inspections to ensure product quality, accuracy, and compliance.
- Complete all required production and quality assurance documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment used in compounding, packaging, and labeling processes.
- Perform validation, calibration, environmental monitoring, microbiological monitoring, and equipment checks as required.
- Label and package compounded products to ensure proper identification, integrity, and readiness for shipment.
- Prepare cleaning agents, stock solutions, and other support materials in accordance with SOPs.
- Maintain strict adherence to line clearance procedures and contamination control practices throughout all production activities.
- Assist with cleaning and sanitization of cleanrooms, equipment, workstations, totes, and sterile production areas.
- Participate in inventory counts, stock rotation, and expiry management activities.
- Support departmental quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate effectively with pharmacy and warehouse personnel to ensure efficient workflow and production support.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with all quality and regulatory requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
Qualifications:
- Secondary School Diploma or equivalent.
- Pharmacy Technician Diploma from a CCAPP-recognized program.
- Previous pharmacy experience is considered an asset.
- Experience with aseptic compounding of sterile infusions is preferred.
- Knowledge of sterile compounding techniques and cleanroom operations.
- Understanding of pharmacy regulations, quality standards, and SOP compliance.
