The Opportunity
We are seeking a Project Coordinator, Construction to join our growing Toronto team and support the delivery of purpose-built rental apartment projects across the Greater Toronto Area.
Reporting to the Project Manager and working closely with the Site Superintendent, the Project Coordinator will provide day-to-day project administration and technical coordination across procurement, document control, cost management, design coordination, construction, occupancy, and closeout. This is an opportunity to gain broad exposure to complex concrete residential construction within a vertically integrated development and operations platform.

The expected salary range for this role is $65,000 to $95,000, with final compensation determined by the candidate’s experience, skills, and qualifications.
What you bring...
- Degree or diploma in construction management, civil engineering, architectural technology, building science, or a related discipline.

Minimum 2 years of project coordination experience with a general contractor, construction manager, developer-builder, or major trade contractor on multi-residential, mixed-use, or commercial projects.

Experience supporting cast-in-place concrete mid-rise or high-rise projects in the GTA is preferred.

Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, contracts, shop drawings, RFIs, site instructions, and consultant reports.

Working knowledge of construction administration, document control, submittals, procurement, change management, progress billings, meeting minutes, and project closeout.

Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize competing deadlines and maintain accurate project records.

Strong written and verbal communication skills and confidence coordinating with consultants, trade contractors, suppliers, authorities, and internal teams.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint; experience with Procore and Bluebeam Revu is strongly preferred.

A proactive, accountable, and collaborative approach with a genuine interest in building a career in construction.

Valid Ontario driver’s licence and ability to attend project sites and meetings throughout the GTA.
You will...
- Manage project document control in Procore, including drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, site instructions, contemplated changes, change orders, and distribution logs.

Prepare and maintain submittal, RFI, procurement, change, deficiency, permit, inspection, and closeout logs, and actively follow up to prevent impacts to the work.

Assist with tender preparation, scope sheets, bid invitations, bid leveling, trade comparisons, contract exhibits, purchase orders, and procurement tracking.

Support cost control by coding and reconciling invoices, reviewing trade progress billings, tracking commitments and changes, updating forecasts, and preparing monthly reporting information.

Assist the Project Manager and Superintendent with baseline schedules, short-term schedules, progress updates, meeting preparation, and schedule recovery tracking.

Coordinate information between the field team, consultants, trade contractors, suppliers, utilities, and internal development and property operations teams.

Attend and document project, consultant, and trade meetings; issue clear minutes promptly and track all action items to completion.

Review drawings and specifications to identify coordination gaps, scope overlaps, long-lead items, and missing information, and raise issues with the project team.

Assist with permit submissions, municipal and utility coordination, inspection documentation, testing reports, occupancy requirements, and Tarion deliverables.

Support project quality assurance and quality control processes, including mock-up documentation, inspection records, deficiencies, and verification of corrective work.

Maintain organized and complete contract and project records suitable for audit, claims management, turnover, and future reference.

Compile operations and maintenance manuals, warranties, as-built drawings, training records, commissioning documents, and other closeout materials.

Perform regular site walks, verify progress, and support the project team with other reasonable duties required for successful project delivery.
