Position Summary
We are currently seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Pharmacist to join our Sackville team. This role offers the opportunity to practice patient-centered care in a supportive environment where your professional expertise directly impacts the health and well-being of the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional pharmacy services in accordance with New Brunswick regulations
- Review prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness, and drug interactions
- Counsel patients on medication use, side effects, and overall health management
- Administer injections, vaccinations, and expanded clinical services (where applicable)
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
- Oversee pharmacy workflow and supervise pharmacy staff
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards
- Deliver exceptional customer service and build lasting patient relationships
Qualifications & Requirements
- Licensed Pharmacist in good standing with the New Brunswick College of Pharmacists
- Strong patient care and clinical decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Injection certification (preferred or willingness to obtain)
- Proficiency with pharmacy systems (Kroll experience considered an asset)
