Here’s What You’ll Get To Do
As a Non-Registered Neurodiagnostic Technologist, you will become an important member of the Neurophysiology team and receive training to safely perform routine EEG studies while providing compassionate, patient- and family-centred care.
You will:
- Learn to perform routine Electroencephalography (EEG) procedures
- Obtain relevant neurological and clinical histories
- Educate patients and families about procedures
- Prepare and support children throughout testing
- Operate specialized neurodiagnostic equipment
- Produce detailed technical reports
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
- Assist with equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
- Participate in educational activities designed to support CBRET certification and professional growth

Essential Qualifications
- Graduate of a CBRET-recognized Neurophysiology program
- Working toward eligibility to write Part 1 and/or Part 2 of the CBRET examinations
- Willingness to obtain CBRET registration within two years of hire
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and critical thinking abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic clinical environment
- Demonstrated commitment and actions in advancing equity, diversity and inclusion objectives
Preferred Qualifications
- Membership with CAET (or willingness to obtain within 6 months)
- Current BCLS certification (or willingness to obtain within 6 months)
