Responsibilities:
- Transport equipment to and from the event.
- Arrive on time; Coordinate with clients, and ensure punctual setup.
- Maintain a professional appearance with formal/business casual attire, opting for all-black clothing as per our style.
- Set up various activations (print booth, digital booth) and ensure a successful event.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team, and troubleshoot issues as they occur.
- Manage crowd flow, encourage guest participation and maintain a fun atmosphere.
- Hand out prints to guests and assist with a sharing station.
- Ensure that the photos/videos are top-notch and meet our company standards.
- Cooperate with team members for efficient event operations.
- Tear down, clean the area and make sure the equipment is dropped off back to the warehouse.
Requirements:
- Eager to learn.
- Ability to work independently.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a reliable personal vehicle (owned and regularly available) for equipment transport.
- Ability to lift/ handle up to 60lbs on your own.
- Proficient in English.
- Availability on evenings, weekends and/or holidays. Events may run late into the evening and occasionally extend beyond scheduled hours.
- Willingness to travel long distances for events as needed.
- Adaptable personality for various event scenarios.
- Positive demeanour with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Quick grasp of new concepts.
- Familiarity with our brand.
- Photography experience is a plus, but not required.
- Experience creating social media content is an asset, but not required.
Pay and Training benefits:
- All training is paid, including an initial 3 to 5 events and in-office training.
- Competitive hourly rate of $25/hour.
- Mileage and parking reimbursement.
- Accommodations and food reimbursement for overnight events.
Additional Information:
- This position is part-time on a casual basis with no guaranteed minimum hours.
- Events span from 5 to 8 hours.
