Buffalo Trail Public Schools is seeking a passionate, student-centred educator to join the team at Edgerton Public School for the 2026–2027 school year. This full-time probationary position includes Physical Education and Health programming across multiple grade levels, along with Grade 5/6 Math and Science instruction. Specific Position Details
Start Date: August 26, 2026 preferred. Candidates who are unable to begin on August 26 may still be considered.

Location: Edgerton Public School – Edgerton, Alberta
Assignment: Physical Education and Wellness (K–2, 5/6, 7–9, and Physical Education 10/20) and Grade 5/6 Math & Science
Contract Type: Full-Time Probationary

Specific Position Duties
The successful candidate will demonstrate:

Training and/or experience teaching Physical Education across multiple grade divisions would be considered an asset.

Training and/or experience teaching Division II Math and Science would be considered an asset.

Experience coaching school athletic programs and supporting extracurricular activities would be considered an asset.

Experience and/or training in Assessment for Learning, including formative and summative assessment practices
