Full job description

Murrieta's Mountain Bar & Grill is located in the heart of Canmore, Alberta. It is the perfect place to stop by for everything from drinks with friends after skiing to a romantic dinner in the mountains. Providing a unique and enjoyable experience is extremely important to us and we maintain high standards in both the front and back of house.

Overall Responsibility:

The Restaurant Supervisor plays a key leadership role in the daily operation of Murrieta’s, supporting the management team by overseeing service, mentoring staff, and ensuring a high standard of hospitality is maintained at all times. This position bridges the gap between front-line service and management, helping coordinate floor operations, resolve guest concerns, and uphold the restaurant’s commitment to quality and consistency.

Key Responsibilities:

Support daily operations of the Front of House and ensure seamless service execution.
Lead pre-shift briefings and assist with staff training, scheduling, and performance feedback.
Act as a floor leader during service, engaging with guests, managing flow, and handling concerns professionally.
Collaborate with the management team to uphold service standards, maintain cleanliness, and ensure compliance with health and safety protocols.
Assist with inventory management, ordering, and end-of-day reporting as needed.Qualifications:
Previous supervisory or senior serving experience in a busy, full-service restaurant.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
A hands-on and guest-focused approach with a passion for hospitality.
Ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.
ProServe certification.
Strong wine knowledge required, WSET certification is a plus.
