passionate Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) to join our team and make a meaningful impact on our clients’ health journeys.
Job Summary
We are looking for the “best” massage therapist—someone who is not only technically skilled in various modalities but is also deeply empathetic, professional, and dedicated
to continuous learning. As a key member of our team, you will provide personalized therapeutic massage services, tailoring every session to individual client needs, ranging from deep tissue to therapeutic relaxation.
Key Responsibilities
● Expert Assessment & Treatment: Conduct thorough client assessments, review health histories, and develop customized treatment plans to address specific pain points, injuries, and wellness goals.
● Advanced Modalities: Perform a wide range of techniques, including but not limited to: Deep Tissue, Sports Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release, Prenatal, and Swedish Massage.
● Client Care & Communication: Actively listen to client feedback during sessions to adjust pressure and techniques for the best possible experience.
● Documentation & Hygiene: Maintain accurate, confidential, and detailed SOAP notes after each session. Ensure a clean, safe, and impeccably maintained treatment room, following all sanitation protocols
● Education & Support: Educate clients on post-treatment self-care, including stretching, strengthening exercises, and postural improvements.
Required Qualifications & Skills
● Licensure: Active and in-good-standing Registered Massage Therapist license (or relevant state/provincial certification). Similar certifications in other jurisdictions will be considered even if not active in Alberta.
● Experience: Proven experience (2+ years preferred) in a professional clinical or spa environment.
● Technical Skill: Solid knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and soft tissue manipulation.
● Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, genuine empathy, and a passion for helping others.
● Professionalism: High degree of integrity, maintaining client confidentiality and professional boundaries.
● Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, move, and provide consistent, high-quality pressure throughout a full shift.
