We are seeking a highly skilled and certified Red Seal Welder to join our team at Gabler Welding Ltd. in Carberry. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in industrial fabrication and repair, ensuring the highest standards of workmanship and safety. Key Responsibilities:
· Welding and Fabrication: Perform a variety of welding tasks, including MIG, TIG, and SMAW welding on various metals such as steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
· Blueprints Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings to determine welding requirements and specifications.
· Equipment Operation: Set up and operate welding, cutting, and forming equipment, ensuring proper settings and techniques are used for each job.
· Quality Control: Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality and safety standards. Perform necessary rework and repairs to achieve desired results.
· Repairs and Maintenance: Conduct repairs and maintenance on industrial equipment and structures, ensuring they are restored to optimal operating condition.
· Safety Compliance: for all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment. Use appropriate personal protective equipment bracket PPE bracket and adhere to company safety policies.
· Collaboration: Work closely with other welders, fabricators and team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
· Documentation: maintain accurate records were performed, including job logs inspection reports, and maintenance documents.
Qualifications:
· Education: High school diploma or equivalent; certification in welding. Ideally the candidate will hold a Red Seal or the hours and experience to attain the certification.
· Experience: Proven experience in industrial welding, fabrication, and repairs. Experience in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment is preferred.
· Skills:
· Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and SMAW welding techniques.
· Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
· Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
· Knowledge of welding safety standards and best practices.
· Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
· Strong communication and teamwork skills.
