Warehouse Associate – Receiver

Door Hardware Supply (DHS) is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Warehouse Associate – Receiver to join our warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, organizing, and processing incoming shipments while ensuring inventory accuracy and maintaining a safe and efficient warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against packing slips and purchase orders.
Report any damaged, missing, or incorrect items to the Warehouse Supervisor.
Accurately enter received goods into the inventory management system.
Label, organize, and store products in designated warehouse locations.
Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment as required.
Load and unload trucks safely using pallet jacks, forklifts, or other warehouse equipment (training/certification required where applicable).
Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with regular inventory counts and cycle counts.
Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe at all times.
Follow company policies and all health and safety procedures.
Work collaboratively with warehouse staff, purchasing, customer service, and sales teams to ensure efficient operations.
Assist with general warehouse duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous warehouse or receiving experience is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to lift and move heavy materials safely.
Basic computer skills and experience with inventory systems.
Forklift experience or certification is an asset.
A valid G driver's licence is an asset.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a safe workplace.
