Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Cleaner to join our dynamic cleaning team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of commercial spaces, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for employees, clients, and visitors alike. Your energy and dedication will help uphold our high standards of cleanliness across various business settings, contributing to a positive and professional atmosphere.

Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, lobbies, and other designated areas within commercial facilities
Use appropriate cleaning tools and supplies to remove dirt, dust, stains, and debris efficiently
Maintain sanitation standards by disinfecting surfaces in high-touch areas such as door handles, light switches, and communal equipment
Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure consistent quality across all spaces
Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet paper to ensure continuous availability
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management for quick resolution
Adhere to health and safety regulations to create a safe working environment for yourself and others

Qualifications

Previous custodial or cleaning experience preferred, especially in commercial settings
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness
Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, and steam cleaners safely and effectively
Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled hours
Reliable work ethic with a positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and safety protocols in commercial environments is a plus
Must reside either Carman, MB or Portage La Prairie
