**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sewing Production Worker to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sewing, cutting, and packaging products efficiently while maintaining the highest quality standards. This role requires precision, teamwork, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Sewing:**
- Operate sewing machines and other related equipment to assemble products according to specifications.
- Follow patterns, blueprints, and work orders to produce garments or products.
- Perform stitching, hemming, and other sewing tasks with accuracy and consistency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine issues to minimize downtime.
2. **Cutting:**
- Accurately measure and cut materials based on provided patterns and specifications.
- Use cutting tools and machinery safely and efficiently.
- Organize and prepare materials for the sewing process, ensuring minimal waste and optimal use of resources.
3. **Packaging:**
- Inspect finished products for quality, ensuring they meet company and customer standards.
- Fold, label, and package products appropriately for shipment or storage.
- Maintain an organized and clean packaging area to ensure efficiency and safety.
4. **Quality Control:**
- Conduct regular quality checks throughout the production process.
- Report any defects or inconsistencies to supervisors promptly.
- Implement corrective actions as needed to maintain product quality.
5. **Maintenance & Cleanliness:**
- Keep workstations clean and organized to promote a safe and efficient work environment.
- Perform routine maintenance on sewing machines and equipment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.
6. **Collaboration:**
- Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet production targets.
- Communicate effectively to address any issues or improvements in the workflow.
**Qualifications:**
- **Education:** High school diploma or equivalent.
- **Experience:**
- Minimum of 3-5 years in a sewing or production role within the manufacturing industry Is preferred
- Experience operating industrial sewing machines and cutting equipment preferred.
- **Skills:**
- Proficient in various sewing techniques and garment construction.
- Ability to read and interpret patterns, blueprints, and work orders.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Basic troubleshooting skills for machinery.
- **Physical Requirements:**
- Ability to sit and stand for extended periods.
- Capable of lifting and moving materials up to 40 pounds.
- Good vision, including color vision, to detect product defects.
- **Other:**
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work schedule once training program is complete.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00-$19.00 per hour
