Marpole Transport Ltd is looking for a Transportation Coordinator at our Duncan, BC office.

This is a Monday to Friday position, 8-9 hours per day with occasional on-call weekend coverage. Both day and evening shift coverage is required.

Experience in flat deck and wood chip hauling operations as well as safety and transport compliance
Must be fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong leadership skills and the ability to perform in high stress situations
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to multi-task and follow through on last minute changes
Able to direct and lead independent drivers maximizing their productivity throughout the day.

Minimum of 1 year of experience in dispatch. Preference will be given to those with experience in dispatch, communications or logistics.
