Full job description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day financial recordkeeping and support the company's accounting functions. The ideal candidate will have experience with bookkeeping software, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently while maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities

Record and maintain accurate financial transactions.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Reconcile bank, credit card, and other financial accounts.
Maintain general ledger entries and supporting documentation.
Assist with payroll processing and payroll record maintenance.
Prepare monthly financial reports and account summaries.
Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
Monitor cash flow and identify discrepancies.
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Organize and maintain financial records for audits and tax preparation.

Qualifications

Certificate, diploma, or degree in Accounting, Bookkeeping, or a related field.
Minimum of 2–3 years of bookkeeping experience.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.
Able to learn new accounting software.

Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
