Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional guest services and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. As the first point of contact for guests, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive dining experience.

MUST BE ABLE TO WORK DAY SHIFTS IN SEPTEMBER AND OCTOBER 11:00am-4:00pm

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated.
Manage the seating chart and assign tables based on availability and guest preferences.
Communicate effectively with the kitchen and waitstaff to ensure timely service.
Assist guests with inquiries regarding the menu, specials, and restaurant policies.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and waiting area.
Handle phone calls with professionalism, providing information about reservations and wait times.
Support the restaurant team by helping with food service during peak hours as needed.
Uphold high standards of customer service to enhance guest satisfaction.

Requirements

Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members.
Ability to multitask in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Familiarity with POS systems is a plus, but training will be provided.
Excellent phone etiquette for handling reservations and guest inquiries.
A positive attitude and willingness to help others contribute to a great team environment.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
