What You’ll Be Doing
Pricing & Analysis
- Support pricing and analytical exercises by reviewing operational data, historical trends, and demographics
- Analyze data trends and identify key cost or performance drivers
- Assist with reporting and recommendation development through data analysis
- Support internal teams with renewal and pricing impact assessments
Data Clean Up & Modeling
- Organize and maintain client and operational data
- Build and maintain Excel spreadsheets, reports, and analytical models
- Validate datasets and outputs to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Identify discrepancies and ensure data integrity across reporting processes
Reporting & Operational Support
- Prepare reports and summaries for management and internal stakeholders
- Compare and summarize data from multiple sources
- Highlight key year-over-year changes, trends, and operational insights
- Support ongoing business improvement initiatives through analysis
Risk Review & Flagging
- Identify and flag operational, pricing, or reporting concerns
- Proactively surface issues, inconsistencies, and observations for management review
- Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvement and efficiency
Working with External Partners
- Coordinate with external vendors, insurers, or partners regarding data and reporting requests
- Follow up on outstanding information and provide clarification where required
- Support pricing and reporting adjustments where appropriate
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in analytical support, underwriting, pricing, operations analysis, or related fields
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including experience working with large datasets, formulas, and models
- High attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies and produce accurate, well-documented outputs
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment
- Experience in benefits, insurance, staffing, or workforce solutions considered an asset
- CEBS or related certifications considered an asset
- Must successfully clear a background check
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
